Certified Nurse Life Care Planners (CNLCPs) are Registered Nurses (RNs) who are certified by the Certified Nurse Life Care Planner Certification Board.
To maintain certification, CNLCPs must renew their certification every 5 years by providing proof of the completion of required continuing education units (CEUs)
or by retaking the certification exam. CNLCP certification renewal through continuing education requires 60 hours of CEUs that must be completed within the
five-year period.
