Course Overview

This course is the Treatment Improvement Protocol 59: Improving Cultural Competence which focuses on the essential ingredients for developing cultural competence as a counselor and for providing culturally responsive services in clinical settings as an organization.

This is part two (of 4) and the test will be on chapter 4 which provides a broad overview of how behavioral health organizations can create an institutional framework for culturally responsive program delivery, staff development, policies and procedures, and administrative practices.
