Course Overview

This course will discuss medical marijuana in the United States. We will review its legality, the research regarding medical use, and recommendations put forth by government research. The history of marijuana in America will be presented. We will then focus on the difficult issues surrounding the entire situation, including legal, clinical, and ethical. The Codes of Conduct will be explored in relation to these legal and ethical difficulties. We will finish the course by presenting the recommendations for the use of medical marijuana in the treatment of cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS), and epilepsy in the United States.
