This course is based on the textbook, Vocational Assessment: Evaluating Employment Potential. This book discusses the assessment process Vocational Rehabilitation counselors go through working with clients as they assist the client with effective vocational decision making. The major topics discuss through the textbook are:

  • A review of vocational assessment systems and approaches
  • The VDARE process
  • Occupational and job survey information
  • Expanded sections on brain injury assessment and the ADA
