Available Training Programs

AAACEUs is proud to offer pre-approved training programs that satisfy the training requirements mandated by the ICHCC. AAACEUs worked closely with the ICHCC to develop the following training programs:

  • Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP™) Training Program

Designed to satisfy the 120 hour training requirement set forward by the ICHCC™ (International Commission on Health Care Certification), this pre-approved program contains 7 modules composed of assignments, print material, power point presentations, exams and a case study.

All of the modules must be successfully completed to graduate from this program and become eligible for the Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP™) or Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP™) examination offered by the International Commission on Health Care Certification. For specific information on the CLCP™ or the CCLCP™ credentials please visit: http://ichcc.org

  • Certified Medical Cost Projection Specialist (CMCPS™) Training Program

Medical Cost Projection is the process of reviewing records to determine future cost of medical services. It is based on medical record review usually covering a portion of the care: in most cases, the last two years.

The Medical Cost Projection report is a condensed document that provides an estimate of items and services that an injured or disabled person will, in all probability, require.

This report can be used in mediation, settlement negotiations and also in setting aside funds. The Medical Cost Projection is not suitable for litigation or to be used for the basis of testimony.

The ICHCC™ has recently launched the Certified Medical Cost Projection Specialist (CMCPS™) credential.

AAACEUs is proud to offer a pre-approved training program that satisfies the 45hr training requirement to sit for the CMCPS™ exam.

  • Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant (MSCC™) Training Program

This ICHCC™ Approved Training program designed to take the learner through all required information such that a candidate is well-prepared to apply for the MSCC™ credential and further grow their career. This training is broken up into 6 modules plus an additional training on the MSA Report itself with an opportunity to create a sample MSA Report and submit it for peer-critique. Each module is designed to build on the last module in a multi-stage approach to learning.

This training program consists of 6 modules to be completed sequentially. The MSA Report is broken down in a "how-to" format with all resources required to create a sample MSA Report and submit it back to us for peer review. After each of the 6 modules there will be a short test to demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the subject matter. A Certificate of Completion will be issued for each module. Upon completion of the entire 6-module program, a certificate of completion for the entire program will be issued. This will demonstrate your completion of the training program and satisfy the training requirement to apply for the MSCC™ credential.
